Have been a patient at CTGI for over a year after relocating back to CT. Macaela Cirish APRN provides compassionate care while developing a mutual treatment plan with the goal of optimizing the health of her patients. I don’t feel rushed or ever diminished as a person. Some of the staff also have varied GI diseases and it shows in their empathetic approach. Melissa, RN infusion nurse is a gem in the practice, providing expert IV access and positive encouragement to medication induction. The MAs have been super helpful in coordinating insurance authorizations for pricey medications.
The only downsides are long wait times to get an appointment and the GI doctors focus on endoscopic procedures only.

The doctor was very informative.The nurses were excellent.respectful and polite.
The whole staff were comforting and supportive. The main nurse who checked me in was the sweetest. The doctor explained everything thoroughly and that was wonderful.
You should not cancel appt that has problem and need to sew a doctor and already waited 3 months
Recent endoscopy went smoothly. Staff was professional, warm and friendly. Everyone was technically proficient and worked in a timely manner. I highly recommend.

Clean and quiet. Personnel are very courteous and helpful. Doctor is thorough in exam. Explain the treatment and procedures that is understandable.

Very satisfied with my visit. Wait time less than 5 minutes. Angela explained in detail the necessary test required to definitively diagnose my medical symptoms. She listened to my concerns and scheduled a follow up visit after the test results are received from Bristol hospital.
In the 3 months it took for me to schedule the appointment I changed my diet and was no longer having the same symptoms. The APRN was wonderful. She listened to me and agreed with my choices.
