About Colin Woodard, D.O.
Dr. Colin Woodard is a Board Certified gastroenterologist who treats all GI issues, but has a passion for treating inflammatory bowel disease. He also enjoys treating liver disease and helping people prevent colon cancer through screening exams. Hemorrhoid treatment has also become an area of focus for Dr. Woodard. Dr. Woodard is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterology Association.
Dr. Woodard really enjoys the diversity of diseases he gets to treat in GI. He is able to help very sick patients in the hospital as well as develop long term relationships with others. With his engineering background, he also enjoys the evolving technology of GI.
Dr. Woodard prioritizes listening to patients on their initial consultation followed by gathering information through testing and procedures to make a diagnosis and come up with a treatment plan that works and they agree upon.
Dr. Woodard has a Masters in Biotechnology from Northwestern University. He graduated with his Medical Degree from the University of New England. He completed his Medical Residency and his Medical Fellowship at Kent Hospital at the University of New England.
Dr. Woodard enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and two girls. He also enjoys running and tennis.
