Cathy Borst

Cathy is responsible for building, managing, and protecting the technology and information systems of the GI Alliance. Her teams support not only the implementation and security of the many systems of the enterprise but the strategic mapping for the GI Alliance’s IT future as well. On top of the day-to-day management of the system structure, Cathy guides the integration of technical systems as new groups join the GI Alliance practice.

With over 30 years of healthcare IT experience, Cathy leverages a great deal of knowhow toward the technical underpinnings that support the GI Alliance patient experience to keep Patients First. Prior to joining the executive team of GI Alliance in early 2019, Cathy served as the CIO for National Surgical Healthcare and MedCath.

Cathy has earned a Bachelor of Business and Administration degree in Finance & Economics from Baylor University.
