About Carl D. Frank, M.D.
Dr. Carl Frank graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in biology. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas at Houston, and then went on to complete his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Texas at Houston. He completed his fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology through a combined program with the University of Texas at Houston and the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Dr. Frank is published in recognized medical journals and has presented at multiple meetings at both the local and national level. He is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Frank is a 4th generation Texan and joined Austin Gastroenterology in 2006.
