From check-in, to seeing the Doctor, the practice was extremely professional and very patient-centered. The front desk staff waited on me promptly and had all the new patient paperwork ready and waiting, along with an explanation of what I was required to sign, and why. As I was completing the paperwork they took the co-pay. Very efficient process. Within five minutes I was called back by a very professionally-polite nurse who took my vitals and preliminary information, and just a few minutes after that, the doctor came in. Dr. Anupama Duddempudi was very pleasant, professional, and personable. She listened to my concerns, and actually had a conversation with me regarding my health, as opposed to talking “at” me, as has been my experience with other physicians. What’s more, she took the time to explain the series of tests I would need, and the reasons for each test. If this interaction was gauged on a 1-10 scale, Dr. Duddempudi would be a solid 10. Generally speaking, I would rather slam my head in the car door than go to a medical appointment, but not this time. I had a sense of peace during my visit with Dr. Duddempudi. She and the Austin Gastroenterology staff were awesome!!! They all set the bar extremely high for service excellence in their respective duties.
