Amelia Deerwester, MPAS, PA-C of Massillon, OH, joined Indianapolis Gastroenterology and Hepatology in 2026. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science from the University of Dayton, in Dayton, OH. She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. She sees patients in Indianapolis.

Amelia is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). She is certified in ACLS and BLS. Her training features the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the pancreas, GI tract, and liver.

Amelia finds excitement in adventure travel, hiking and backpacking with her friends and family. She also has an interest in the arts, enjoying amateur photography, live music, reading, and has recently taken up the piano.
