About Alyn Adrian, M.D.

Dr. Alyn Adrian is a Board Certified gastroenterologist who treats all gastrointestinal diseases, but has a special interest in colon cancer screening and prevention. Dr. Adrian is an advocate for women's GI health and has advanced training in therapeutic endoscopy, including ERCP.

Dr. Adrian has held positions as the Governor for Rhode Island for the American College of Gastroenterology, is a past President of the Rhode Island Medical Society and is now acting as a Council member.

She is an active Fellow of the American Gastroenterology Association, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American College of Physicians, and a past Rhode Island Delegate to the American Medical Society.

She enjoys the mix of face-to-face patient care, as well as the more technical aspects of endoscopic procedures. Dr. Adrian has found the ability to intervene with endoscopic procedures a gratifying aspect of practicing in GI. She loves getting to know her patients over many years, caring for multiple generations in the same family and the relationships she has built with them. Dr. Adrian spends a lot of time discussing the impact of lifestyle on health and feels educating people about their health empowers them to impact their own well-being.

Dr. Adrian graduated with her Medical Degree from Brown University Medical School, Providence, RI. She completed her Medical Residency at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Oakland, CA, and completed her Medical Fellowship at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia.

Dr. Adrian is an avid hiker, bicyclist and kayaker. She also enjoys scuba diving, travel and restoring antique motorcycles in her free time.
