About Adam Hughston, M.D.
Dr. Adam Hughston is a board-eligible Gastroenterologist with Lubbock Digestive Disease Associates. He performs routine GI procedures such as upper endoscopy and colonoscopy in the diagnosis, screening and surveillance of gastrointestinal diseases and cancers. In addition, he also performs complex polypectomy and dilation in addition to other endoscopic procedure. He is a member of ACG, ASGE, TSGE and the Crohns and colitis foundation.
Why did you choose to specialize in Gastroenterology?
I chose gastroenterology because it allows for me to treat large variety of patients and conditions while allowing me to do a variety of procedures.
Do you have a specialty of interest in Gastroenterology?
My clinical interests include endoscopy and colonoscopy, colon cancer screening, esophageal disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, cirrhosis management and more.

What do you and your family enjoy doing in your spare time?
I enjoy playing golf and hunting, in addition to spending time and traveling with my wife and children.

Very good doctor and staff
I have used Dr. Hughston for my colonoscopy and also my endoscopy. He is very nice and did a great job! Answers your questions and very easy to make an appointment and get in to see him. Would recommend him to anyone . Because of my experience other family members will also make him their doctor.

Dr. Hughston and his team have wonderful bedside manners. From the beginning to the end everything was painless and smooth. Dr. Hughston Explained everything thoroughly before, during, and after my procedure . Didn’t feel anything, before I knew it it was over and I felt great! Definitely recommend him to all.
