About Timothy J. Trainor, M.D.
Dr. Timothy Trainor received his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of New Orleans. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Louisiana State University Medical Sciences Center in New Orleans. His residency in internal medicine as well as his fellowship in Gastroenterology was completed at Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans. Dr. Trainor obtained his Board Certification in Gastroenterology in 1991. Dr. Trainor is currently a resident of St Tammany Parish. He maintains active membership in The American College of Gastroenterology, The American Society of Gastroenterologists, The American Gastroenterological Association, and Louisiana State Medical Society. A partner of Gastroenterology Group, AMC, he has practiced in the Slidell office since 1991. Dr. Trainor is an active staff member of Slidell Memorial Hospital, Ochsner-Northshore, St. Tammany Parish Hospital, and Lakeview Regional Medical Center. Dr. Trainor has been a leader in the local medical community, having served as President of the St. Tammany Parish Medical Society and Chief of Staff at Ochsner-Northshore Hospital.
