About Austin Wright
Applying the primary mission of the GI Alliance to be “Patient First,” Austin leads the Marketing & Patient Experience department for GI Alliance. His team supports the physicians and local offices in establishing and executing marketing capabilities across digital, local and CRM tactics. He leads this team with the mantra that, the best marketing we can do is to provide a great patient experience with every interaction we have with our patients, online, in-clinic and post visit.
Prior to joining GI Alliance, in early 2020, Austin led a career as a marketing consultant for several cutting-edge agencies / vendors. His teams implemented tactics and strategies across digital, CRM and local channels that literally changed how many client brands did marketing and customer experience. Bringing the best-in-class practices to the GI Alliance, Austin leverages his experience that helped to elevate such brands as Domino’s, Chili’s, Best Buy, HEB, Honda, AMC, Citibank, Victoria’s Secret, Nothing Bundt Cakes and even the country of Aruba, to name a few. Fostering the growth of the next generation of marketers, Austin lectures at business schools in Dallas but also at Northwestern and Washington University.
Austin’s formal education came from Brigham Young University and a master’s degree from Northwestern University.
