"Dr Meziere is a great doctor. Very nice and knowledgeable. I have been coughing for years. I knew I had reflux but he put me on extra medication along with what I was taking.He stretched my esophagus and He also told me to quit caffeine and elevate my bed. It’s been a week and my coughing has almost completely stopped. Highly recommend him."

"Dr Tom Mezzire has been mine and my husband GI physician for 15 years. He has always been very professional with a kind and warm bedside manner, listens to us throughly explains procedures and findings and does not leave the exam room until all our questions are answered.Recenty my husband was told when he called to the office to make an appointment Dr Mezzire had retired and scheduled him with another doctor in the clinic. I was panicked! To me it’s equvilent to when a women finds a Gynecologist you are comfortable with trust and you hope they will take care of you for a long time! Dr Mezzire is the only GI physicain I have ever seen. I received a phone call the end of August informing me it was time for a 5 year follow up with Dr Mezzire. I mentioned I thought Dr Mezzire had retired. I was so relieved to learned he had not retired and was working two weeks a month! I had an appointment last week with Dr Mezzire and about cried when he walked in the exam room. I was so glad to see him! He is the best! I highly recommend Dr Mezzire for GI care!"

"Every time I have had concerns about my health as it relates to my digestive system, Dr. Morrison is always there to listen and actually base her next steps according to what I have expressed. She doesn't do anything that is not necessary that might lead to answers.
The whole staff from the office staff to all the nurses are very compassionate and caring and patient with everyone. They adhere to privacy and confidentiality.
I absolutely love the use and availability of the patient portal. It allows you to not waste valuable time, your's or theirs.

"I requested my primary doctor send me for a second opinion to another gastroenterologist as I was not pleased with the care I was receiving from another provider. My PCP recommended Dr. Johnson and sent a referral over. I was contacted quickly and an appointment was set within a month.
I was pleased with the atmosphere of the office and I felt the wait time was appropriate. I also was relieved to have Dr. Johnson not only listen to my concerns, but he took the time to explain to me why I needed to be observed and he helped me navigate a plan of care that I was comfortable with. It is so imperative that patients understand why certain procedures need to be done, but it's also important for a patient and doctor to work together in a way that doctors and patients feel comfortable in the plan of treatment.
This is such a problem in the medical field today and I find it exhausting constantly having to advocate for myself for appropriate medical care.
I feel that Gastro Arkansas has a good system set in place for referrals and appointment timeframes, comfortable atmosphere, fair and just billing system, and a good patient portal.
I am comfortable with the care I am receiving and feel relieved to have a doctor who takes the time to explain things in a way that helps me make decisions that I'm comfortable with.

"I have been seeing Dr. Debra Morrison for almost 20 years now and I can't say enough about how absolutely wonderful it is to have Dr. Morrison as my gastroenterologist. And because of my particular medical situation I must visit a gastroenterologist every 6 months, which means a LOT of visits! I wouldn't even consider going to another gastroenterologist or another gastro clinic other than GastroArkansas.
