If you have a chronic, severe gastrointestinal autoimmune condition that has not responded to oral medications, your AG doctor may prescribe infusion therapy. You may be a candidate if you have inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) such as Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis. In addition to infusion therapy for IBD, we also offer iron infusions to treat anemia in adult patients.
During infusion therapy, an experienced registered nurse will administer your medication intravenously. Our infusion nurse works closely with your AG physician and associated mid-level providers to deliver a seamless continuum of care.
AG is dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable environment for our infusion patients. Conveniently located in the same building as our Northwest/Shoal Creek office, our infusion center features comfortable reclining chairs, flat screen TVs, and Wi-Fi internet access.
If you have been referred for infusion services, our staff will keep you informed about your visit and answer any questions you may have. Learn more about the infusion therapies we offer and what to expect.
