About David Van Hoornbeek, PA-C

David was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. He did his undergraduate training at Boston College then graduated from the Physician Assistant program at Saint Louis University. David is a nationally certified Physician Assistant specializing in gastroenterology, a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Missouri Academy of Physician Assistants. After several years working in internal medicine and endocrinology, David joined the SIG team in 2013. David works closely with the gastroenterologists while evaluating and treating a number of gastrointestinal conditions in both the clinic and hospital settings. He is on staff at Missouri Baptist Medical Center where he assists in the treatment of acute GI problems. Appointments with David may be made for both new patient initial consultation and follow up of established patients.

David is married with two teenage daughters and a Doberman. In his spare time he enjoys reading, taking family walks, playing tennis, and volunteering for youth activities.
