About David Lee, M.D.
Dr. David Lee specializes in advanced, minimally-invasive therapies of the GI tract, including Per-Oral Endoscopic Myotomy for achalasia (POEM) and Zenker’s diverticulum (Z-POEM), Transoral Incisionless Fundoplication (TIF), Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), Endoscopic Submucosal Disection (ESD), and Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (EMR).
He has special interest in treating GERD, Barrett’s esophagus, and early esophageal cancers, and has extensive training in endoscopic therapies for GERD. He is also the first person in the State of Texas to be certified for EUS-guided portal pressure gradient (EUS-PPG) measurement for liver disease.
He has a passion for bringing advanced endoscopic care to his patients, and providing patients with a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary plan for treatment of their GI disorders.
